Through The Grapevine

About 4 days ago, I tweeted the link of Jasmine’s Valentine’s Day entry “Love Like You Know It”. For I thought it was nice to share her story on how she spent Valentines Day with her son MIO who’s in the midst of battling cancer.
The next day, I was exchanging tweets with Abhie just like our usual routine, when she started asking me about Jasmine’s blog. I don’t know Jasmine personally, but since I have been following her blog for a while, I remember she have had entries where she posted her contact details, and so I told Abhie on how she can possibly try to look for it.
It was very quick that Abhie posted a tweet update that she finally made a call to Jasmine. Then, few minutes after, I saw a missed call from her and decided to call her back.
Goosebumps… we ended up crying over the phone. I was totally moved on how God moves in amazing ways more than we could ever foretell.
Please check Abhie’s journal HERE
I also got private message from another blogger/friend, that she have already contacted Jasmine about sending them some financial aid too.
That all happened in less than 24 hours.
I, personally,  am dealing with a major challenge in our family, but that’s different story… Who is MIO or Jasmine to me? They are living inspirations… a spark of hope… that, yes maybe we all get bruised and tormented individually, but God has always been with us in every step of our journey… He delivers and always provides. A miracle is happening every single day. We just have to keep our hearts open to welcome it.

Keep the faith… God bless US all!

Feel free to check on : – Let’s give CANCER a good FIGHT!

Just sharing how I spent my Valentines Day and welcomed the Chinese New Year with my workmates/friends.
It was pretty difficult to find a place to dine in, as most of the establishments were closed due to Chinese New Year holiday. Luckily we found a place somewhere in Orchard to just relax and eat good food!
Who says Valentines Day had to be exclusive for couples? Regardless of our status, we can always find enjoyment if we wanted to,besides, what’s wrong about being carefree and be silly even for a day?
Loving is an exercise of the heart! Let’s keep our hearts healthy every single day!

A not so Sunny Sunday

Starting up….
As of writing, I only had 3 hours of sleep since yesterday, I can already feel the stress in my nape area. Bangag + Zombie in one.
I managed to prepare chicken cordon bleu as my present for Rico’s (my college friend Sheila’s BF)  post birthday dinner at their place. It was a success! I feel fulfilled!
I’m stressed with work… to many pending cases to close. Hopefully I’ll be able to get up early and resolve all those. tsk! consistency is the key….

I’m not really a techie person. Not an iPhone fan some more. After almost two years of using my old but still reliable Samsung F330, I’d say getting Lindy is quite a major leap, considering all the features that come with it.
Phone selection really boils down to personal preferences. Some may like the “over the top”or the “in thing” My smart buying head says, choose a phone, not because it’s popular or it’s full packed with features, but more of practicality and really what suits your needs. Don’t buy something that will slave you on features which are new to you and you don’t really require. Not everything that makes noise, is fabulous. But then again, it’s all a matter of choice!
